The MPOWER women in STEM scholarship is awarded annually to female international and DACA students who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in a full-time STEM degree program at an MPOWER-supported institution in the United States or Canada.

Qualification Prerequisites
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Enrollment Status:
- Be accepted into or enrolled in a full-time degree program at an MPOWER-supported institution in the United States or Canada.
- Legal Status:
- For study in the United States, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Must have a valid visa permiting to study in the U.S.
- Be covered by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
- Be a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- For study in Canada, you must meet one of the following criteria to be able to apply:
- Be a permanent resident of Canada.
- Possess a valid study permit for Canada.
- For study in the United States, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Eligibility Note
This scholarship is specifically designed for DACA and international students. Therefore, it is not available to citizens of Canada or the United States who wish to study in Canada.
