“WBY” means “What About You?”
What does WBY mean?
In texting, “WBY” means “What about you?” It’s a slang used to ask someone the same question after you’ve answered theirs. For example, if they ask, “What’s going on?” you could reply, “Not much. WBY?” to ask what is happening on their side.
It is similar to HBU which is “How about you”. The difference is that HBU is mostly used after responding to a question like “How are you?”
You may be wondering why WBY does not match the full form. The reason is, with internet slang, some of these stuff are there to put emotions in a conversation.
